DEVOTIONAL<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Many of us are like Festus or Agrippa. Like Festus, no matter how much the word of God has been shared and much evidence has been shown, our hearts may have remained unresponsive. And anything that cannot be explained logically, philosophically, scientifically, or naturally cannot be accepted as reality. As Festus said, “madness!” The virgin birth, the resurrection of Jesus, and the miracle healing of the blind, lame, and deaf are invalid without proof of medical science. All these cannot be explained logically or scientifically, so they would outright reject the truth because of their bias and close their eyes to the existence of the supernatural.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like Agrippa, we know that what the Bible teaches is true. Yet because we desire the pleasures of the world, riches, fame, power, applause, and approval of men, we do not want to live out the biblical truths for fear that we will miss out on what the world has to offer. We would rather enjoy what the world offers now than invest in the Kingdom of God.<\/span><\/p>\n

We must all be like Paul. He would use the opportunities to do God’s purpose for his life, even if the way to accomplish that purpose is for him to be a prisoner.<\/span><\/p>\n

PRAYER<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Heavenly Father, we see Paul’s bold commitment to truth. Help us stand for our faith boldly like him. Grant us discernment to see Your purpose and wisdom in challenges. Thank You for these lessons, encouraging us to be fearless witnesses of Your love and truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.<\/span><\/p>\n
