\u201cTherefore I want you to know that God\u2019s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!\u201d For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ\u2014with all boldness and without hindrance!<\/span><\/p>\n

As traditions say, Luke, the author of Acts himself, was also martyred by hanging in an olive tree. In contrast, we have none of Paul’s dying words or account of the place of his death. We do not know if believers witnessed this closing scene and sustained him with their prayers. Although, some say Paul’s ending was through beheading.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whatever ending it might have been, I believe that his demeanor was similar to Stephen’s during the stoning. Stephen had that perfect peace within that his accusers saw his face like an angel’s. Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 4:7\u20138,<\/span> “<\/b>I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.” Paul was so confident that the Lord Jesus would reward him for his faithfulness. I believe as Stephen declared in Acts 7:55, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” Standing as to welcome his faithful servant. I believe Paul also had this vision and also had the grand homecoming in heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gratefulness comes with a commitment to follow their example of living our lives fully dedicated to the Lord, in good and bad times, and being faithful and courageous in proclaiming God’s word until the day the Lord calls us home.<\/span><\/p>\n

PRAYER<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding us of Your plans in challenges. Guide us as You guided Paul, using us for Your purposes. Open doors for sharing Your gospel. May our lives reflect Your power, drawing others to seek Your grace. Grant us the courage to boldly proclaim Your truth. Thank You for these lessons, inspiring us to embrace Your plans and share Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.<\/span><\/p>\n
